Hello, Friend!

My name is Elena, and I am the voice behind this blog! I’m 24 years old, and these days I spend my time doing homemaking and nannying part-time. My husband and I live in the western suburbs of Chicago, which is where I’ve lived most of my life.

The topics I write about reflect several central things about me that have become very influential in how I experience the world. I am a highly sensitive person with ADHD, an enneagram type 2, and a creative. I am the wife of a hard-working man in healthcare. I have a passion for interior design (and a correlating degree), but found that my heart wasn’t in the industry itself. I dream about being a full-time wife and homemaker someday, when the time is right.

Although those things about me are influential, I am also a follower of Jesus and that’s the most important thing you could know about me. Christ has saved me from myself, and the Lord is making me into a new creation day by day.

I have always been someone with a lot to say – and if you know me in “real life” then you know that’s true! So, although I have no formal background in writing, this blog is fulfilling a life-long dream of creating a platform to share my life, thoughts, and experiences with the world in some way.
